Alfric Nyakundi Asiago

Alfric Nyakundi Asiago a holds Bsc. in Environmental Science from Kenyatta University, Kenya. He is a model, a footballer and a musician. He has done works of fiction for many years, but none attracted national recognition to the degree of the poems which appeared in poetry corner of the Moments Magazine of The East African Standard (now The Standard) between the years 2005 and 2006. In 2010 and 2011, Alfric participated in competitions of the National Book Development Council of Kenya in the category of adult fiction category. He is also multi-lingual, being able to communicate fluently in English, Kiswahili, Portuguese, Japanese and Chinese. His inspiration to work hard and succeed was triggered by reading real stories of Doctor Ben Carson who demonstrated that there can be possibilities even in the face of strongest winds of doubt.

Alfric is currently editor of fiction and opinion columns at The Companile Magazine published at Kenyatta University.

Distance Between Life and Death is Alfric’s first full-length novel.
