Godpower Oboido is an exciting new voice in the African literary scene. He is a poet at the Stables Theatre, in Hastings UK, with style greatly influenced by classical literature as much as it is by the buzz of modern society. 

He was a finalist in the 2010 Future of Nigeria Awards, where he was among the 100 of the best and brightest Nigerians under thirty. Godpower Oboido’s works have been published in The Istanbul Review, Saraba Magazine, African Write, and Nathaniel Turner, among many others.
