John Mugubi is one of Kenya’s most versatile writers and seasoned lecturer of Literature, Theatre Arts, and Film Studies. He holds Bachelors of Arts in Literature and a Masters of Arts from the University of Nairobi, and a Ph.D. in Literature from Kenyatta University. Mugubi is currently Professor of Stylistics, Film and Literary Appreciation and the Dean, School of Creative Arts, Film and Media Studies at Kenyatta University. He has published numerous scholarly works in Theatre Arts, Film, and Literature. His published books include Fundamentals of Literature, Style in Literature and Deceit and Pestilence by Royallite Publishers Limited, Kenya.
