Josephat Ndege Mauti is a playwright and poet. Through his writings, he chronicles the theme of moral decadence in society and looks forth to altering the status quo for a better society. His debut play, The Valentine Wedding by Pangolin Publishers (2017), satirizes the country’s political innuendos. The Forbidden Fruit is his second play.
