Description
Ann and the Pen is a story about a young girl who goes to school. She breaks her pen, and a friend gives her own, which she later loses. Her mother gets her a replacement, but she fears asking for two pens. Then she lies to the local shopkeeper to get the extra pen. What will the parents do when they discover that she lied? Will they punish her? What punishment will that be?
Ann and the Pen is about honesty, integrity, and love. In the story, Ann learns how to be honest and trusted.
