Abenea Ndago

Dr. Abenea Ndago was born in Western Kenya in 1979. He earned a first degree in Linguistics and Literature, and a Masters in Literature both from the University of Nairobi. In 2021, he earned a Ph.D. in Literature from the University of Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa. Dr. Ndago has taught Literature at the college level and some of his stories are featured in the Kalahari Review. As well, most of his short stories have also appeared on africanwriter.com where he also doubles as Associate Editor. Voices (Nsemia Inc., 2017) was his first published novel followed by Crossing the Border (Nsemia Inc., 2018). 
Dr. Ndago’s most recent work, Lord Kitchener’s Boy (Nsemia Inc., 2022), has been shortlisted for the 2022 James Currey Prize for African Literature
