This children’s book teaches the importance of good behavior and manners among children, emphasizing values like respecting their parents and elders. The author, Dorothy Jebet, possesses over 18 years of experience in the Kenyan journalism scene, working for various media houses, including the Nation Media Group, The Standard, the defunct Kenya Times, The Star, and Kass FM in different capacities. Currently, she serves as an independent consultant and analyst on journalism and media matters.
Dorothy has undergone extensive training in journalism, including a stint on US Congressional Reporting under the Bill Clinton Administration. Her work has garnered international attention, and she was awarded a Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) sponsorship to study Human Rights and Administration at Lund University based on her story about the early marriage of a 16-year-old girl.
